Smell Ya Later, NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beautiful - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Oh, Cute, why do you tease? Yep, I'm talking to you NYX Mega Smooth Lip Gloss in Beautiful ($v.50).

Information technology'south non merely the newest of 61 colors in the Mega Shine line; information technology's also the first NYX gloss I've always tried.

The line gets raves for texture, colour payoff, shade pick and price, and I've had smashing luck with NYX lately, so I had crazy high hopes for their glosses.

Perhaps also high.

Don't get me wrong. I similar Beautiful'due south colour and texture — a subtle shimmery pink on the lips, medium weight texture, non too thick or gluey on the lips — but I just can't hang with the scent. It'southward like a preschool nurse'south office, function cherry coughing syrup and plastic with a hint of Play Doh (for warmth and complexity), and it even has a piddling of the same season, too.

I tried to stick it out and leave it on my lips to test for habiliment time this afternoon, but I gave upwardly later about x minutes. I simply couldn't take information technology anymore.

Still, it sure looks pretty, doesn't it? I bet it would look killer with smokey eyes… Maybe if I pinch my nose. 🙂

Have you tried any of NYX'south glosses before? I'm curious, how exercise you experience about the odor? I acknowledge I take a pretty sensitive nose.
